HMS Taku (1940) SS  (2nd)

     
This the second ship to carry the name HMS Taku was a Triton Class submarine.

Built by Cammell Laird of Birkenhead, laid down 18-Nov-1937, launched 20-May-1939 and commissioned 03-Oct-1940.

Sold for breaking up Nov-1946 at South Wales.

Won the Battle Honours: Norway 1940-44 and Mediterranean 1941.
