This the second HMS Superb was a 4th Rate 60-gun ship.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, of 1,068 tons builders measurement, 144ft long and 41ft 6in wide, carrying 60-guns.

She served mainly in the Mediterranean and was present at the Capture of Louisburg under Commodore Warren on 28 June 1745.

Broken up at Sheerness Jul-1757.
