This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Starling was a 4-gun, schooner.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 31-Oct-1829, 61ft long, 20ft 6in wide and of 108 tons builders measurement.

Used as a survey vessel from 1834.

Sold Feb-1844 in China.

Won the Battle Honour: China 1841-42.
