This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Starr/Star was an 18-gun sloop.

Built by Tanner of Dartmouth, launched 26-Jul-1805, 106ft long, 28ft wide and of 371 tons builders measurement.

Renamed Meteor 1812 and used as a bomb vessel.

Sold 16-Oct-1816.

Won the Battle Honour: Martinique 1809.
