This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Stag was a fifth rate, 46-gun, ship.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 02-Oct-1830, 159ft 6in long, 42ft wide and of 1,218 tons builders measurement.

Breaking up completed 08-Aug-1866 by Marshall of Plymouth.
