This the second ship to carry the name HMS Snipe was a 6-gun, cutter.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 28-Jun-1828, 64ft long, 22ft wide and of 122 tons builders measurement. Armed with 2 x 6pdr guns, and 4 x 6pdr carronades.

Broken up Nov-1860 at Devonport.
