Composite Screw Corvette 12-gun

    
This the eighth ship to carry the name HMS Ruby was a composite screw corvette.

Built by Earle of Hull, launched 09-Aug-1876, 220ft long, 40ft wide and displacing 2,120 tons. Armed with 12 x 64pdr guns.

Renamed C.10 and used as a coal hulk Dec-1904.

Sold 09-May-1921.
