This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Royal Oak was a third rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built by Dudman of Deptford, launched 04-Mar-1809, 175ft long, 48ft wide and of 1,759 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from Dec-1825.

Broken up at Bermuda 1850.
