HMS Proserpine (1807) (5th)

This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Proserpine was a
fifth rate, 32-gun, ship. Built by Steemson, Paul near Hull, launched 06-Aug-1807,144ft 6in long, 37ft 6in wide and of 922 tons builders measurement. Armed with 10 x 24pdr carronades, 26 x 18pdr and 4 x 9pdr guns. Captured 27-Feb-1809 by two French frigates.
