HMS Prince of Wales (1693) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Prince of Wales was a sixth rate, 14-gun
ship. Originally a French privateer (Le Prince de Galles), 63ft x 20ft 4in x 9ft 1in (19.2m x 6.2 x 2.8m), and of 163 tons builders measurement. Captured by HMS York 1693 and commissioned into King James Navy. Removed from Navy lists by 1699.
