This the second HMS Powerful was a second rate, 84-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 21-Jun-1826, 196ft long, 52ft 6in wide and of 2,296 tons builders measurement.

Used as a target 1860.

Breaking up completed 29-Aug-1864.

Won the Battle Honour: Syria 1840.
