This the third ship to carry the name HMS Pomone was a fifth
rate, 38-gun, ship. Originally HMS Astree, a French ship, captured 06-Dec-1819 at Mauritius, 152ft 6in long, 40ft wide and of 1,085 tons builders measurement. Renamed HMS Pomone 26-Oct-1811. Broken up Jun-1816.
