HMS Orlando (1888) CC  (3rd)

     
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Orlando was a 2nd Class Armoured Cruiser. 

Built by Palmer of Jarrow, laid down 23-Apr-1885, launched 03-Aug-1886, completed Jun-1888.

On completion served as the Flagship at Australia 1899-98. Returned to Portsmouth 1898-99, then it was out to the China Station 1899-1902.

Returned to the UK at Portsmouth 1903-05.

Sold 11-Jul-1905.

Won the Battle Honour: China 1900.
