HMS Ocean (1761) (1st)

This the first HMS Ocean was 2nd rate, 90-gun,
ship-of-the-line.
Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 21-Apr-1761, 176ft long. 49ft wide, and of 1,833 tons builders measurement. She saw extensive service in the channel fleet, took part in successful actions against the French and was paid off in 1783. Won the Battle Honour: Ushant 1781.
