HMS Niobe (1800) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Niobe was a fifth
rate, 38-gun, ship. Originally French, captured 24-Aug-1800 by a squadron off Malta. 156ft long, 41ft wide and of 1,142 tons builders measurement. Broken up Nov-1816.
