This the second ship to carry the name HMS Nereide was a fifth
rate, 38-gun, ship Originally French (Venus), captured 18-Sep-1819, at Reunion, by HMS Boadicea, 157ft 6in long, 40ft 6in wide and of 1,165 tons builders measurement. Broken up May-1816.
