This the first ship to carry the name HMS Nabob was a 26-gun, storeship.

Originally an East Indiaman, bought Sep-1777, 136ft 6in, 33ft wide and of 637 tons builders measurement.

Used as a hospital ship from 1780.

Sold 10-Oct-1783.
