This the first ship to carry the name HMS Lynx was a 10-gun, sloop.

Built by Stanton of Rotherhithe, launched 11-Mar-1761, 88ft long, 23ft 6on wide and of 261 tons builders measurement.

Sold 14-Feb-1777.
