This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Lyme was a sixth rate, 28-gun, ship.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 10-Dec-1748, 118 ft long, 34ft wide and of 587 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked in the Baltic 18-Oct-1760.

Won the Battle Honour: Lagos 1759.
