This the thirteenth ship to carry the name HMS Lively was a 2-gun, wooden paddle despatch vessel.

Built at Sheerness Dockyard, launched 10-dec-1870, 220ft long, 28ft wide and of 835 tons builders measurement, displacing 985 tons.

Wrecked 07-Jun-1883 near Stornoway.

Wreck sold Jul-1910.
