This the third ship to carry the name HMS Juno was a sixth rate, 26-gun, ship.

Built at Pembroke Dock. launched 01-Jul-1844, 131ft long, 41ft wide and of 923 tons builders measurement. Armed with 2 x 8in and 24 x 32pdr guns.

Renamed Mariner 10-Jan-1878 and used as a police ship.

Renamed Atalanta 22-Jan-1878 and used as a training ship,

Foundered in the Atlantic, 12-Feb-1880.
