This HMS Iron Duke is the third to bear the name.
She is the fifth of the Type 23 Duke Class (1990) frigates, launched 02-Mar-1991, completed 23-Jul-1992 and commissioned on 30-May-1993. Took part in the Trafalgar 200 Fleet Review. Her motto is "Virtutis Fortuna Comes - Fortune is the companion of valour". In service Jan-2013.
