HMS Halcyon (1934) SL  (5th)

     
This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Halcyon was the lead ship of a class of 21 minesweeping sloops.

Built by John Brown on the Clyde, launched 20-Dec-1933.

Sold 19-Apr-1950 for breaking up.

Won the Battle Honours: Dunkirk 1940, Arctic 1941-44 and Normandy 1944.
