This the first ship to carry the name HMS Glory was a fifth rate, 32-gun ship.

Built by Blaydes & Hodgeson of Hull, launched 24-Oct-1763, 125ft long, 33ft wide and of 679 tons builders measurement.

Renamed HMS Apollo 30-Aug-1774.

Broken up at Woolwich Jan-1786.
