This the third ship to carry the name HMS Folkeston was a
fifth rate, 44-gun, ship. Built by Bird of Rotherhithe, launched 08-Jan-1741, 124ft 6in long, 36ft wide and of 698 tons builders measurement. Sold 01-Aug-1749.
