This the second ship to carry the name HMS Fawn was a 6-gun, brigantine.

Originally a slaver (Caroline), bought 27-May-1840 at Rio de Janeiro, 75ft long, 23ft wide and of 169 tons builders measurement.

Used as a tank vessel from 1942.

Sold May-1847 to the Natal Colonial Government
