HMS Faulknor (1914) DD  (1st)

    
This the first ship to carry the name HMS Faulknor was a destroyer leader.

Built by White, originally for the Chilean Navy, launched 26-Feb-1914 as the Almirante Simpson, and bought Aug-1914. Displacing 1,694 tons, 331ft long, 32ft wide and armed with 4 x 4in guns and 4 x torpedo tubes.

Resold to the Chilean Navy May-1920 and renamed Almirante Riveros.

Broken up early 1940's. 

Won the Battle Honours: Jutland 1916, Belgian Coast 1917-18, Zeebrugge 1918 and Ostend 1918.
