Wooden Screw Sloop 17-gun

    
This the nineteenth ship to carry the name HMS Falcon was a wooden screw sloop.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 10-Aug-1854, 160ft long, 31ft 6in wide and of 748 tons builders measurement. Armed with 17 x 32pdr guns.

Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856.

Sold 27-Sep-1869.

Won the Battle Honours: Baltic 1855 and New Zealand 1863-66.
