This the first ship to carry the name HMS Esk was a sixth rate, 20-gun, ship.

Built by Bailey of Ipswich, launched 11-Oct-1813, 115ft 6in long, 30ft wide and of 460 tons builders measurement. Armed with 18 x 32pdr carronades, 1 x 12pdr, and 2 x 9pdr guns.

Sold 08-Jan-1829.
