This the third ship to carry the name HMS Cumberland was a fireship
armed with 8-guns. Originally the Alex Robert, bought 29-Jun-1739, 79ft long, 23ft wide, and of 181 tons builders measurement. Broken up at Sheerness 31-Mar-1742.
