This the first ship to carry the name HMS Culloden was a third rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 09-Sep-1747, 161ft 6in long, 46ft 6in wide and of 1,487 tons builders measurement.

Sold 29-Jun-1770.

Won the Battle Honours: Lagos 1759, Martinique 1762 and Havana 1762.
