This the first ship to carry the name HMS Cressy was a third rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built by Brindley of Frindsbury, launched 07-Mar-1810, 176ft long, 48ft 6in wide and of 1,763 tons builders measurement.

Broken up Dec-1832.
