HMS Crane (1898) TBD  (6th)

    
This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Crane was a torpedo boat destroyer.

Built by Palmer of Jarrow, laid down 02-Aug-1896, launched 17-Dec-1896, and completed Apr-1898.

On completion served in the UK then went to the Mediterranean 1902 to 1904. Returned to the UK and remained there.

Sold 10-Jun-1919.

Won the Battle Honour: Belgian Coast 1914-17.
