HMS Constance (1846)  (3rd)
4th Rate 50-gun

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Constance was a fourth rate, 50-gun, ship.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 12-Mar-1846, 180ft long, 53ft wide and of 2,132 tons builders measurement (bm). Armed with 10 x 8in and 40 x 32pdr guns.

Conversion to a screw frigate of 2,176 tons bm, completed 15-Apr-1862,

Sold 1875.
