This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Clyde was a Thames Class, submarine.

Built by Vickers Armstrong of Barrow, launched 15-Mar-1934.

Sold 30-Jul-1946.

Won the Battle Honours: Norway 1940, Mediterranean 1941 and Malta Convoys 1942.
