HMS Clyde (1796)  (1st)
5th Rate 38-gun

    
This the first ship to carry the name HMS Clyde was a 5th rate, 38-gun, fir-built ship.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 26-Mar-1796, 146ft long, 39ft wide and of 1,002 tons builders measurement.

Rebuilt at Woolwich Dockyard and re-launched 28-Feb-1806.

Sold Aug-1814.
