This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Centurion was a third rate, 80-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 02-May-1844, 190ft long,57ft wide and of 2,580 tons builders measurement (bm).

Conversion to a screw ship completed 12-Nov-1855, with tonnage of 2,590 tons bm.

Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856.

Sold 19-Apr-1870.
