This the first ship to carry the name HMS Centaur was a sixth rate, 24-gun, ship.

Built by Blaydes of Hull, launched 11-Jun-1746, 112ft long, 3ft wide and of 504 tons builders measurement.

Sold 30-Jan-1816.
