This the second ship to carry the name HMS Castor was a fifth rate, 32-gun, ship.

Built by Graham of Harwich, launched 26-May-1785, 126ft long, 35ft wide and of 681 tons builders measurement.

Captured by the French 09-May and re-taken 29-May-1794.

Sold 22-Jul-1819.

Won the Battle Honour: Guadeloupe 1810.
