This the third ship to carry the name HMS Caroline was a 14-gun, gun-big.

Originally French of 158 tons builders measurement, captured 18-May-1803 by HMS Doris, off Ushant. Armed with 12 x 12pdr carronades and 2 x 6pdr guns.

Broken up 1806.
