HMS Calliope (1808) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Calliope was a
Cherokee Class, 10-gun, brig-sloop. Built by Dudman of Deptford, launched 28-Jul-1808 and of 237 tons builders measurement. Breaking up completed at Portsmouth by 13-Aug-1820.
