Wooden Paddle Packet

    
This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Beaver was a wooden paddle packet.

Originally the GPO vessel Fury, transferred 1837, 102ft long, 16ft wide and of 114 tons builders measurement.

Used as a dockyard lighter from 1844 and hulked 1850.

Broken up at Woolwich 1858.
