HMS Andromeda (1777) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Andromeda was a
sixth rate, 28-gun, ship. Built by Fabian of East Cowes, launched 18-Nov-1777, 121ft long, 36ft wide and of 609 tons builders measurement. Lost Oct-1780 in a hurricane off Martinique. Won the Battle Honour: St. Vincent 1780.
