This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Agamemnon is the
sixth Astute Class nuclear powered attack submarine. Construction of long lead items began 2010 and cutting of the first steel is expected 2012. Official projected keel laying, launch and commissioning dates have not yet been announced.
