This the second ship to carry the name HMS Aeolus was a fifth rate, 32-gun, ship.

Built by Barnard of Deptford, launched 28-Feb-1801, 144ft long, 37ft 6in wide and of 910 tons builders measurement.

Broken up Oct-1817.

Won the Battle Honours: Bay of Biscay 1805 and Martinique 1809.
