HMS Aboukir (1848) (3rd)

This the third ship to carry the name HMS Aboukir was a second
rate, 90-gun, ship-of-the-line. Built at Devonport Dockyard, launched 04-Apr-1848, 204ft long, 60ft wide and of 3,080 tons builders measurement. Conversion to a Screw ship completed 01-Jan-1858 as 3,091 tons builders measurement. Sold 23-Nov-1877 in Jamaica.
