Azalea Class (1915) SL

The 12 ships of the Azalea Class (1915) were the second sub-group of Flower Class (1915)  minesweepers ordered as part of the Emergency War Construction Programme.

They differed from the preceding Acacia Class in mounting either 4" or 4.7" guns instead of 12pdrs.

All had triple hulled bows which gave extra protection while sweeping. All were launched during the second half of 1915.
