This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Swift was a 10-gun, advice boat.

Built by Moore, Arundel, launched 1697, 78ft long, 21ft 6in wide and of 154 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked 24-Jan-1698 at North Carolina.
