This the first ship to carry the name HMS Shoreham was a fifth rate, 24-gun, ship.

Built by Ellis of Shoreham, launched 06-Jan-1694, 103ft long, 28ft wide and of 359 tons builders measurement.

Rebuilt at Woolwich 1720 as a sixth rate 20-gun, ship of 379 tons builders measurement.

Sold 05-Jun-1744.
