This the third ship to carry the name HMS Partridge was a Cherokee Class, 10-gun, brig-sloop.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 12-Oct-1829 and of 231 tons builders measurement.

Renamed WV 32, and used as a coastguard watchvessel 25-May-1863.

Sold 02-Feb-1864.
